Medical Polytechnic (Poltekes) of Yogyakarta Had a Lecture in Rifka Annisa

Yogyakarta (20/7) Poltekes (Medical Polytechnic) of Yogyakarta visited Rifka Annisa Women Crisis Center as a forum to gain knowledge or obtain clear information especially on cases of victims of violence faced by women and children. A total of 36 female students and 2 lecturers from Poltekes attended the visit and discussion.

"Our aim is that when we visit Rifka Annisa, students can find out what methods will be done when facing violent cases," said Niken, one of the lecturers at Poltekes Yogyakarta.

In the meeting, Suharti as director of Rifka Annisa present subjected related to Rifka Annisa and explain some cases handled by Rifka Annisa. In addition to Suharti, Khoirun Ni'mah as a staff of Media Public Relations Division also gave exposure to media facilities used by Rifka Annisa to promote and prevent violence against women. In addition, Sabar Riyadi as male counselor at Rifka Annisa also shared stories about the cases that in the institution.

In the meeting, it was also clearly conveyed about the background of the establishment of Rifka Annisa institutions, founding figures as well as vision and mission of the ecological framework system Rifka Annisa. In addition Suharti also showed the results of research that has been conducted by Rifka Annisa. Clear information obtained by Poltekes Yogyakarta in accordance with expectations and some questions asked by participants. Suharti also explained various methods that can be used by the health officer in dealing with the cases of violence against women and children.
